Position: Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer

The individual will be responsible for working with customers and peers to integrate the company solution during trial. Using the company BI layer the candidate will also engage in customization of applications and reports to the individual customer needs.

During product evaluation the candidate will often identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customer’s network performance, product performance or product integration.

The candidate is required to present the company solution and its value to the customer and provide technical training as needed.

This exciting position requires a high level of technical knowledge to execute support, integration and customization tasks that will encompass a variety of the company solutions. All work in this fast moving position is associated with the latest VoIP and 3G technologies that will challenge your skills!

 

You will need to demonstrated track record of 5 years with relevant technical experience in the telecommunications or data communications industry. Candidates should have Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Additional requirements:

 

Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in Data Communications, at all layers such as:

            Physical – Ethernet, WAN (e.g. T1/E1, DS3)

            Transport – IP(TCP/UDP), PPP etc.

            Application – e.g. HTTP, DNS, SMTP

Experience in working under the following environments

            Windows

            Unix/Solaris

            Experience with Oracle and storage systems is an advantage

Familiarity and experience with core side of 3G Wireless Networks, including -

            GPRS

            UMTS

            CDMA 2000

Familiarity and experience with VoIP and NGN Telecommunication Technologies

            SIP, MGCP/MEGACO, IMS, SS7, SIGTRAN

            Gateways, SBC, Softswitch

Programming background or experience in implementation of data analysis over BI (Business Intelligence) Layer.

 

General:

            Travel to customer site up to 60% of the time

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in writing and delivering technical training sessions.

Experience in using or managing network elements or monitoring solutions

Primary activities include:

Requirements: 

 

We are seeking a driven, independent, and extroverted Business Development resource with the ability to develop relationships and close OEM relationships. 

 

·         5 years selling software and services technology directly into the security, messaging or networking space

·         Experience in selling http/web security products (like URL filtering) and or messaging products into the OEM market is a huge advantage.

·         Demonstrated experience in selling  to large technology companies and service providers

·         Ability to follow and develop sales processes and leads (cold calling)

·         Education: Relevant 4 year degree

·         The ability to travel
